We offer a comprehensive range of new and pre-owned trailers, along with servicing and spare parts, supplying to a wide segment of the heavy transport industry across Australia.

G & A Lombardi are dealers for Roadwest Transport Equipment (RWT), Tag-A-Long, Freighter Group, Faymonville, and Gergen.

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Truck Driver / General Yard Hand who is available for an immediate start at our busy Forrestfield workshop.

Reporting to the Service Co-Ordinator you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, which encompass, but are not limited to, the duties detailed below.

• General truck driving, pickup and delivery of trailers, Servicing all departments.
• Assist with Trailer movements around yard including in and out of workshop.
• Pickups and drop-offs of client trailers.
• Light truck deliveries / pickups. 
• Safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Assist workshop with forklift driving.
• Wash and clean workshop vehicles fortnightly.
• Cleaning and maintenance of yard and facilities.
  
  

Position Requirements
To be successful in fulling your responsibilities you will require the following:

• Forklift Licence (Must Have).
• Truck Licence HC (Must Have) or Higher (MC).
• Be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20kg.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must be reliable and have an excellent work ethic. 
• Ability to take instructions from management.
• Pass a Medical and D and A scan.
