Meet the newest member of the G&A Lombardi family, Paul McGovern.
GET TO KNOW PAUL
Starting as a Heavy Duty Mechanic apprentice in 1978 at Master Motors, Paul completed his apprenticeship in 1982.
Paul continued to work at Master Motors until 1984, where he then commenced working at Skipper Trucks in Belmont. The year that followed, saw Paul transfer into the sales department. Where he started selling the Mitsubishi range of light commercials, Mitsubishi Canter range and used trucks.
Two years after being transferred into the Sales Department, Paul was promoted to Sales Manager at the light truck & commercial centre.
In 2000, AHG transferred Paul to WA HINO on Great Eastern Highway as Dealer Principal. Paul expanded the business, taking on Volkswagen commercial franchise in 2003. From Paul’s hard work in 2004, AHG built a new premise to meet up with the growing number of stock.
Paul remained a Dealer Principal until September 2021, from his time there, he and AHG had represented Yutong Buses and Fiat Commercial.
Paul’s efforts saw the dealership be awarded,
- Largest HINO Dealership in Australia by Volume, nine years running;
- National Dealer Of The Year, 5 times;
- Fiat Dealer Of The Year, 4 times.
With such an extensive knowledge, we are very excited to see where G&A Lombardi will go with Paul’s leadership!
